This is a traditional Indonesian product that is a firm favourite of our vegan friends. It is made through a controlled fermentation process that turns the soybeans into a kind of cake, or patty form. Tempeh is very adaptable and can be sliced and pan-seared to crisp up for a sandwich, or baked until golden to top a pasta or noodle dish.
